Trump on The Run

Trump on The Run

August 26, 2018 By Rich Siegel

I read the the Constitution of the United States recently. I am more convinced than ever before that our founding fathers would be extremely unhappy with how big our government has become.

Officially there are three branches of government: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. I think unofficially the fourth branch is the “Deep State”.

We all make thousands of decisions a day. It is mind boggling to imagine what goes behind that mental process.

Rudy Guiliani got a bit confused peddling his spin, “The truth isn’t the truth. It is someone’s version of the truth.” I do understand Rudy, but it sounds real bad.

Andrew Cuomo another ungrateful, arrogant, phony topped Guilani’s quote, “America was never great.” Again, I do understand, but if words do matter that should be career ending.

Here are some credible words from me. Bill Clinton should never have been impeached. Considering impeaching President Trump in reference to payment to Stormy Daniels or Paul Manafort’s 2005 tax problems is more egregious.

If you want to play this game, then let’s play. Announce a special council to investigate some real criminality in government, ie….Hillary Clinton’s crimes against humanity, the crooked Robert Mueller and the FBI, and the slimiest of slimey, John Brennan and the CIA. Until that happens Trump is right, this is nothing more than a witch hunt.

Every time I speak to my lawyers now I meet in a secure place and have my people pat them down. Michael Cohen has destroyed the idea of attorney-client privilege.

Isn’t it funny how all the crooked politicians judge crooked businessmen. And the pot said to the kettle.

An illegal immigrant stalks and murders a Iowa girl and CNN barely mentions it. They do find the time to report this scumbag was hired to work for a company owned by a Republican politician.

Michael Cohen gets four years in prison instead of 60. This guy represents the scumiest of lawyers on their scumiest day.

The Democrats cried “you can’t impeach a President for personal reasons” in defending Bill Clinton. I think we all can agree Donald Trump, or Bill Clinton, are not going to pass for anyone’s moral compass.

Lanny Davis is Michael Cohen’s counsel. Davis, one of the most obnoxious of all the Clinton hired lackeys, is out of his coffin making a bigger ass of himself then ever before.

It is clear that Lanny Davis represents the tainted Democratic National Committee and not Michael Cohen. On national television Davis declared his client would never accept a pardon from Trump. Lanny Davis has spent a lifetime shaming his profession.

Paul Manafort was found guilty of tax invasion and bank fraud. Someone please explain to me how this is vital to the Russian collusion.

I am befuddled. How can the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels be both “hush money” and a campaign contribution? Stormy and her attorney Michael Avanatti co-created the dance moves for “Do the Hustle”.

It makes zero difference as to which side of the issue you are on, you must agree this purge for impeachment has lost all credibility. If you don’t believe that, I have some good shit to sell you.

Trump has been calling out our long time government establishment on negligence and incompetence. Hate the game not the player.

If Bob Mueller is worthy of the pedestal the Trump haters put him on then it is time for him to step up and say. “I can’t find any evidence that Donald Trump directly colluded with Russia.”

I have changed my mind on the wall. Build it NOW!!!

The first duty of our gov’t is to protect its’ citizens. I think the Tibbetts’ family gives the government low marks in this area.

A word of advice to the hate mongers. Impeaching President Clinton for getting blow-jobs and lying about them turned him into a very popular guy.

I am going to make a prediction. If Mueller continues to try and muscle Trump henchmen the next investigation will center around Hilary Clinton.

They hold 60 years over him and Michael Cohen flips onto to his stomach. This guy is as reliable as your favorite scorned lover.

The pursuers of Donald Trump are cowards, but they pail in comparison with the Catholic Church. After abusing little boys Priests would give the children a cross to wear so the other Priests would know who was vunerable.

Thanks to the city of Atlanta for the southern charm they laid on my family last week. A special thank you to Ricardo and Lisa for being very special hosts to myself, Donna and Laura.

“He who has a how, has a way.” Jordan Peterson, The creator of “self authoring” understands freedom of speech as good as anyone.

I am committed to solving problems. I am honing my act on a small stage right now.

Once in a while people can recognize, I can recognize, what they are thinking. That kind of recognition is electric.

It is convenient for Trump. He has his own twitter station and his own television station.

One of the hardest things to do in life is to let go. The Trump detractors should let go of their bias and hate.

If you’re reading this, there is still time for you. What are you doing for the rest of your life?

Who is Donald Trump?

Who is Donald Trump?

August 17, 2018 By Rich Siegel

The Democrats should be thinking about a solid candidate who can beat Trump in the next Presidential election. I’ll remind the donkeys of what my grandfather used to tell me at the track, “You can’t beat a horse with no horse”.

Omarosa’s book is called “Unhinged”. With that title, is there any reason you need to read what’s inside?

The commentators on FOX and CNN are nothing more than representatives of their parties. Both of their narratives are “Big Brother” like.

The only “blue wave” you will see this Fall may be at a Kentucky Wildcat hoop game. The Democrats and Republicans can wave goodbye to the current two-party system.

The United States has 548 billionaires. China has 584 billionaires. Let’s not forget money still rules the world.

I am starting to believe in the theory that China has exploited American altruism. China is our country’s biggest threat.

China has infiltrated America in the areas of education, technology, and weaponry. Someday it very well may be America and Russia as allies in WWIII.

CNN has touted Oprah and LeBron James as presidential candidates. Not to be out done, FOX is thinking about backing “Pit Bull”.

The Monday after the PGA championship, Tiger Woods was on the cover on USA Today, the Daily News, and the New York Post. While I enjoyed watching his valiant attempt, someone needs to mention that Brooks Koepka won the tournament.

A $715 billion defense spending bill named after Senator John McCain was recently signed. Trump must have changed his mind about McCain’s heroism.

Take a good look at Manafort, Stone, Flynn, Lewandowski, Bannon, Omarosa, ect. Are they a representation of Trump’s loyalty, or his bad judgement?

There is plenty of evidence that the FBI has disintegrated into a corrupt partisan agency. First McCabe then Comey, now John Strzok.

Nancy Pelosi claims she continues to be “a tremendous asset to the Democratic party”. Earth to Nancy…… You are a tremendous asset to the Republicans.

Omarosa getting a tape recorder into the White House “Situation Room” is scary. The fact that Omarosa had a job in the White House is even scarier.

Ana Navarro, who poses as a political commentator for CNN, was screaming into the camera at President Trump, “racist, racist, racist, racist racist!!!!!”. It is official, she has lost her mind.

A baggage boy steps into the cockpit and takes a jetliner for a spin. Airport security isn’t as tight as you think.

I think everyone forgets a jetliner with 300 people on it disappeared two years ago. This is hard to believe, even for a guy like me who received a D – in technology.

My latest movie recommendation is ‘Girl with Green Eyes’. A simple story of time and place.

Breaking News! Michael Avenatti, lawyer of Stormy Daniels, has thrown his name into the swamp for a 2020 presidential swim.

A word can have several meanings depending on how it is used. The words “dog” and “fuck” come to mind. Duh.

There is no question the Russians had their hands in the 2016 presidential election, but I am pretty sure there is not a correlation with Paul Manafort’s 2005 tax returns.

I am trying to maintain an open mind. Robert Mueller and his investigation should come forward now with what they have on Trump.

The media looks the other way at any positive statistics put up by the Trump administration and focuses for four days on the possibility that Trump used the N-word once 20 years ago. Really?

On the same day Syria blows up a school bus full of kids, and a bridge collapses in Italy killing 13, CNN is debating the integrity of Omarosa. This is where we are at folks.

I read that introverts don’t enjoy small talk, for them it takes too much energy. Their interests and passions usually lie in deeper subjects. Yeah, and I think of myself as an extrovert.

There are more egregious allegations of sexual abuse committed by Catholic priests in the Philadelphia area. Judging by the Church’s track record, using the word allegations is generous.

This clown John Brennan is straight out of a Jason Bourne movie. He could be the dirtiest of all the swamp creatures.

The Democratic National Committee and the “Deep State” was hellbent on their puppet, Hillary Clinton becoming president. They deserve what they got!

Trump is starting to remind me of Dorothy. He has pulled the curtain away and exposed the jerk-offs behind it.

I am heading to Atlanta this weekend to visit an old friend. I haven’t seen her in a while and she misses her mommy and daddy.

Let’s Meet Halfway

Let’s Meet Halfway

August 8, 2018 By Rich Siegel

Trump has figured out how to tell his truth without telling the truth. That is a powerful deceptive talent.

via GIPHY

Carl Bernstein wants to do both. Ask a question, then give you what he perceives to be the right words for the answer. Yeah, he’s an unbiased journalist.

The recent fire in California got me to thinking about climate change. The earth is evolving and changing, always has, always will.

I have another confession to make. My ideologies lean to the West. Yes, California, that includes you.

Speaking of the left coast, they have decided to give a good portion of state land back to Native Americans. None of that land is coastline of course.

Rudy Giuliani is crazier than a looney bird. Still, based on my observations, he is a pretty effective counsellor. Rumor has it when the going gets tough Trump is his own counsel.

“You can break my heart but I ain’t going to run.” I imagine Tom Petty was a hard guy to scare off.

Certain news stations should start studying their own polls. Very few people give a shit about a meeting at Trump Tower with the Russians about dirt on Hilary Clinton. We’re convinced she’s filthy.

Breaking news on CNN: President Trump has told over 4,229 lies since becoming president. I’d like to meet the person or persons who decipher the specific lie relative to the specific truth.

I believe a free press is essential in any form of Democracy. I don’t believe in the press writing their narrative and then reporting only the news that goes along with their narrative.

How can you interpret what my intent is? That sounds like a reverse oxymoron to me.

Urban Meyer is the head football coach at Ohio State University. Let us assume he knew something about the abusive relationship his assistant coach had with his own wife. Should Urban Myer be considered a conspirator?

Anita Hill is as credible as any woman I have heard talk about workplace sexual harassment. Her predator has been a Supreme Court Justice for nearly 30 years. Where is the “Me Too” movement when you need them?

I am not a fanboy of Roseanne Barr, but she insinuated something that made some sense to me at the time she said it. Racism is the millennials’ 1950’s Communism.

The devisiveness in our country and around the world is real. No matter which side you fall on, it is crucial that we try to meet halfway.

One of the major divides is between “How to create wealth vs. how to take wealth. When the latter gets ahead the Civil War Part II will begin filming.

Based purely on observation, I believe that it is possible my mind can be read. To think it can be controlled by anyone but me is another thing.

I have a feeling that the Mueller report will be a tiny speck in the scheme of United States’ history. Mr. Mueller is rounding up the usual peripheral suspects.

If Donald Trump is anything, he is a tremendous salesman. From first-hand experience, sales people tend to take all the credit.

First it was Oprah, now it is LeBron James who is running for president. If I had to vote for one, I’d vote for LeBron, he’s already been a king.

Every rose has its thorn. Just like every night has its dawn, just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song.

Trump sees the mid-term elections as a great sales opportunity. He is out “barnstorming”, mixing scripted propaganda with his ad libs. This combination is quite the show.

A recent Rasmussen poll claims Trump’s approval rating with African Americans is up from 15% to 29%. Is that smoke and mirrors or is there something to it?

The press is not the enemy!! President Trump needs to stop saying it.

The president, not unlike the media, needs to be held accountable and find a middle ground. That starts with both making some concessions. Unfortunately, they are both far too obstinate.

Whoever is in charge of “hocus pocus” in the democratic party needs to make Nancy Pelosi disappear. As in being taken out of politics.

Kaitlan Collins is a great asset to CNN. She replaces Nia Malia Henderson as my favorite political reporter. Both of them deliver the CNN party line softly.

People I respect have told me I am disingenuous in my claims of being a middle-of-the-roader in regards to politics. (They made valid points). Let me set the record straight. I voted for Trump. My rhetoric doesn’t always back it up, but I feel better in the middle.

I love seeing and hearing August in the northeast. The sunsets, the deep greens, the snap of the waves, the thunder, but mostly that nightly song the peepers sing as the fireflies dance.

Trump is Changing The Game

Trump is Changing The Game

July 28, 2018 By Rich Siegel

Mr. Trump would have more cedibility if he included Fox News in his “fake news” comments. I actually think Hannity, Ingraham, and Carlson are Trump’s shadow cabinet.

“Never to suffer would have never to have been blessed.” Edgar Allan Poe. Without the contrast, you would not make the distinction.

In California they are now allowing illegal immigrants to vote in school board elections. Imagine moving to Mexico without becoming a citizen and voting in their elections.

No matter how challenging it is at times, I want to be a believer. In regard to the true nature of people, that is.

It is about time someone looks under the hood of the FBI. Somebody needs to give them a tune up.

Mr. Putin is a crafty old fox who is a KGB agent at heart. Trump can’t understand how he thinks. Putin is the fox, chasing Trump the dog.

Let me get this straight. It is a fact that Russia meddled in 2016 American elections, and it is also a fact that no one named Trump colluded with the enemy?

Maybe Mr. Trump should have gone to Helsinki using President Obama’s techniques to stop Putin’s antics. “Knock it off, or else.” That is always very effective with men named Vladimir.

It is continually reported that Trump and Putin met alone for two hours, along with two interpreters. Somebody should check to make sure those two are still alive.

Sean Hannity and Don Lemon make me think of two diverse religions. There is no way both of them can be right or wrong.

Mick Jagger turned 75 years old on July 26, 2018. I figure he is only half way through the party.

I enjoyed watching Tiger Woods in Scotland last week making an impressive step towards a historic comeback. It looks like his difficult journey has caused him to lose quite a bit of hair.

It is true almost every time. Old men still trying to play boys games, wearing a hat, are making a vain attempt to hide what their missing.

I have given my two daughters unconditional love and support since the day they were born. Note to other fathers: NOT ONCE did I stick my nose in THEIR personal business!!!

“Originality is nothing but judicious imitation.” Voltaire came up with a few lines that are worth repeating.

Fiction can uncover the truth reality hides. Don’t I know it.

I try to talk to everyone starting from the other person’s position. Since all individuals are different, and have had varying life experience, how could I not be a chameleon?

Ask someone where they were on 9/11. If they don’t know, they’re probably not 21.

Former chief Democrat Sheldon Silver of The New York State Assembly was recently sentenced to 7 years behind bars. Nice to see the chickens come home.

A few years back former head Republican of the New York State Assembly, Joe Bruno did time in the slammer. The corruption goes on and on and on…

The Democrats continue to get close to 90% of the vote from the African American community. That’s pretty good loyalty to a political party that certainly hasn’t earned it.

Trump may be talking sweet to Putin, still, he has not withdrawn a single sanction. Also, Obama knew all about Russia’s influence and expelled 35 Russian diplomats in retaliation this past December. BIG DEAL.

Comey, Brennan, and Clapper, at their best, are clowns, at their worst traitors. They politicized the FBI, CIA, and the DOJ. They all should have their security clearances revoked.

In the summertime, I love grilling the long Boar’s Head hotdogs. This past Sunday, for the first time, I realized I am digesting a lot of string.

According to recent NBC and CNN polls, President Trump’s approval rating is at 45%, the highest it has been during his presidency. Please, explain to me what that means?

Chef Trump is not buttering Iran up before frying. Different recipes for different dishes.

Am I hearing this correctly? President Trump’s lawyer has released a recording he secretly taped while discussing business with a client.

The outrage is over Trump screwing and then paying off pornstars? Or because Cohen paid and Trump failed to report the loan? Segments of this country have totally lost their minds.

Please, please, keep on underestimating me. Yes, I am aware I am exposing my arrogance, but you shouldn’t care. I meant exposing the doubters ignorance.

I have noticed many of my New York friends are plotting a strategy regarding where to grow weed. No, I am invested over my head, I only plan on being a good client.

Jason Chaffetz, who was a member of Congress for eight years, has written a book called the “Deep State”. He claims the book contains evidence it does exist.

I get it now. President Trump should present the media with a written plan outlining his complete strategies for dealing with our enemies.

For a country that vigorously believes in freedom of speech, you sure have to be very careful about what you say. The First Amendment has turned into a paradox.

“We are stardust, we are golden, we are billion year old carbon and we’ve got to get ourselves back to the garden,” A good thought as we approach the 49th anniversary of ‘Woodstock’.

As a man it is difficult to fully understand the long-term pain of any woman who has been a victim of abuse. I support the “Me Too” movement. Still, I think I am allowed to be crabby with people in Hollywood, who were not victims, and who knew about Harvey Weinstein’s crimes for all those years and remained silent. To them I say, apologize, or shut the fuck up. Meryl, and Oprah I appreciate you reading my blog.

Two Machiavellian Guys Who Want To Make Their Countries Great Again

Two Machiavellian Guys Who Want To Make Their Countries Great Again

July 17, 2018 By Rich Siegel

The United States is no longer the shining city on the hill, or the moral leader of the Western hemisphere? I guess it was getting too expensive to retain that reputation.

Keep it simple. Donald Trump is not diplomatic, he is rarely politically correct, he is not presidential, he is not what we like to think of as stable. Still, Americans elected him President. I believe it is a direct result of whence came before.

I saw the movie ‘On Chesil Beach’ recently. It was a very good thing I went alone because I am a gosh darn cry baby.

Tab Hunter died last week at the age of 86. I remember my mother had a wicked schoolgirl crush on the man.

A young man , frustrated with not being not as “normal” as most of us, posed a thoughtful question as he gave me a ride home late one night. “Who is responsible?”

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind.” A Bible verse, I think. (Romans 12:2)

My daughter Laura is at the starting line of the “real world.” If being prepared for the game is a key, she is going to be one hell of a player.

Laura has chosen to start her trail in Atlanta, Georgia working for an advertising firm. Thank you to her mother for showing our girls what an independent career woman looks like.

My daughter Mary Kate is an intern this summer for the minor league baseball team the Hudson Valley Renegades. I think she signed on because she thought it was a club for rebels.

In the fall Mary Kate will be begin her final year at Ithaca College. I have 14 semesters of college paid for, only two left (not that I have been counting).

I don’t make many suggestions to my daughters, but I am going to make one right now: If you have children name the first one Judge. Think about the kindergaten teacher calling role.

Intellect should be the biggest priority in selecting our Supreme Court Justices. The Democrats were not going to like anybody Trump picked, but I think Brett Kavanaugh was a pretty good choice.

I guess it is human to think you are much smarter than your parents. I guess we are not as smart as we think.

Now that everyone in the cave is secure, I feel politically safe in saying this: The coach should be put in some sort of penalty box.

I can always change my mind, so I am listening harder to Don Lemon. Let’s just say he is starting to make a dent.

A very wise man reminded me recently of a lesson that I too often forget. I’m rendering, of course, “Focus on what is in front of you.”

Continuing to paraphrase: “Your eyes and your body language tell as much, if not more of the story than your words.” Control those and your words will increase in value.

If you are convinced you are in it for the long run it becomes easier to make the right decision. It has something to do with the combination of patience and virtue.

I do understand the concern there is about Putin and Trump meeting one on one. Two Machiavellian guys who want to make their countries great again.

It is not that far-fetched to think Trump is going to subtly ask his buddy to put a big hit on North Korea’s dictator. O.K. I am all done with crazy conspiracy theories.

At all costs, CHILDERN SHOULD NOT BE SEPARATED FROM THEIR PARENTS. Raise your hand if you’re a parent who disagrees.

Maybe I am hanging around the wrong people, but I don’t know one person who gives a shit about Wimbledon. Is it Roscoe Tanner vs. Evan Lendl in the finals?

Does Donald Trump owe Putin something, or is he just trying to destroy the world order? The allied nations of NATO are rightfully convinced it is one or the other.

As Billy Joel famously said, “I’m in a New York state of mind.” This time of year, there is nowhere else I want to be.

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” – Gandhi

What you ignore you empower. So, keep on ignoring me baby!!!

There is nothing more American than a minor league baseball game on a warm summer night. Kids everywhere chasing dreams.

The latest Mueller report includes the indictment of 12 Russian operatives accused of meddling in the United States’ last presidential election. It is time for Trump to stop acting like Mr. Putin’s bff. Message to “The Donald”: Putin has earned the “arch enemy” title.

Should the first colony on Mars be a democracy? One of the many interesting questions posed in an article Bob Berta posted called ‘Survival of the richest: the wealthy are plotting to leave us behind.

He can spin a story with the best of them, but Peter Strzok has left a terrible stain on the FBI. Agents investigating Russian interference in our elections should not make the type of bad judgements he has made.

Live your life as if they are filming an epic movie called ‘You’. Sometimes you need to bleed to remind yourself you’re alive.

The Game Called Life – 20 Questions

The Game Called Life – 20 Questions

July 4, 2018 By Rich Siegel

I do believe the life we each live is similar to a large board game that may never end. An unknown entity , releases human forms on the board, we call earth. Once the human is put into play they are guided by parents, teachers, and friends on the trials and tribulations that the game inheritently contains. It isn’t long before the player is left to make decisions on their own and battle the litany of numerous built in obstacles. The choices, along with the many random influences, merge to determine the outcome. There is an on going debate as to how much the hand you are dealt at the beginning of the contest affects your ability to perform during the years you remain in the game. Some players start with good looking cards, yet are unable take advantage of them. While others start the game, seemingly with a bad hand, only to use the weak start to push themselves ahead. The routes and methods you have to choose from are boundless, and for the most part are left up to the contestants. The goal is to arrive at a destination of contentment, of serenity and of fullfillment. To have any chance of getting there the player must experience the hurt that comes with understanding love, the painful defeats that make victory so sweet, the lows that drive you to go so much higher, and all the doubt that must come before finding acceptance. Life is a game that will punish you before you understand why you enjoy playing it so much. The trip to the winners circle is filled with gray areas, naysayers, and judges. If you are fortunate enough to get close to where the victors dwell you must be ready for compromise, apologies and forgiveness. There is no one who, given the choice, picks losing. The eventual winners must use adversity to find opportunity. During the journey you must never accept losing, yet find reasons as to why you have lost. You will make many mistakes along the way, you must recognize them and rapidly make amends. Near the end of the game the monitors will ask you if you belong in the winner’s circle. The voices in your head that have whispered to you for lifetimes will not mince words in regards to your performance.

If you are declared a winner by your own voice, and by the judge, you receive an opportunity for your soul to get a head start in the next life. The spoils to the conquerors is 20 questions that the judges ask you on the transport on your way to the next adventure. The really good players have already studied and our prepared to move on to the next round. The losers will not be given any choices and are dumped back onto the board randomly. Below is a preview of the questions to anticipate if your skill in this lifetime brings you into the winner’s circle: Remember winners, these will be your choices for your soul in the next life.

1. Assuming that the health of yourself and of your loved ones is the top priority. What are you committed to doing this time around to ensure a healthy lifestyle for you and your family?

2. Did you give more than you received in the past life?

3. What was your biggest regret of this lifetime? If you say you have none, you will be placed immediately back into the random draw?

4. Which would you prefer? A very rough childhood followed by a long strong finish, or a storybook youth, with early success and potential, but drop dead at 50?

5. Which do you want? Be born into a wealthy family with a lucrative business, or be a child of two average people that can’t afford to give you the finer things in life?

6. Given another chance, will you do more to reach your full potential?

7. What would you like your passion to be?

8. Would you like to be a man or a woman?

9. What state or country would like to be born in?

10. If you did choose to go college which one would like to earn a degree from?

11. How many children would you like, if any?

12. Choose between fame or anonymity?

13. Name the one person from this life that you would want to be a part of your next life. (excluding immediate family)

14. Pick one experience from your prior life that you want assurance will not happen this trip.

15. Pick one experience from the life you just led that you would want repeated.

16. On a scale of 1-10 how important is your legacy to you in the life you are living currently?

17. Name three adjectives that you will use as a code to live by.

18. Before being transported what is the one confession that you took to the grave, that you feel compelled to say out loud?

19. Money cannot guarantee good health or longevity, but can it buy happiness?

20. Using all your learned knowledge about yourself in this life, what would you want your epitaph to say at the end of your next life?

Hopefully thinking about these questions will inspire you to appreciate, to keep improving, and to keep growing.

Hopefully this questionnaire will help you have a better understanding of the lessons learned and the good and bad choices you made in this lifetime. To understand your past is not to relive it, but to look back and let your history, not bring you down, but instead, help lift you up. There are no right or wrong answers, only personal choices based on one’s experiences and wisdom captured. Answer the questions, use your answers to help you in this life, and prepare yourself to get into the winners’s circle of the next life.

Feel free to answer these questions anonymously below.

Summits and Suicides

Summits and Suicides

June 11, 2018 By Rich Siegel

My therapist gave me a nice compliment the other day. She said, ” Rich, You’re more than just your bipolar one.” What a relief.

I spent some time at the Emerson Spa and Resort last week. It is a great place to hide and quiet the mind.

I haven’t met the mind I want to spend eternity with. That includes my own.

I am sure there are a variety of reasons people take their own lives. My guess is Anthony Bourdain made a conscious choice, that for him, it was time.

Anthony Bourdain had been a heroin addict, yet hanged himself. Even in death pride is sometimes hanging around.

Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade may have known there is something better beyond. They loved, and were loved……. it wasn’t enough?

For a chef from Jersey, who was thrown out of Vassar College, he climbed to heights beyond any of his wildest dreams. I can only imagine how frightened he must have been.

To decide the exact moment you die is another way of saying, “I’ve had enough, I am making the last move.” If his mind is still working I would very much like to have a conversation with him.

I am becoming convinced there may be something after this life. Still, I am not changing my strategy.

Yes, words are important and powerful. But, I was taught, actions speak louder than words.

Keep fighting, focus on saying things that make sense, find humor in all situations, and keep calculating. With your brain, not a computer.

I aimed for happiness but settled for success. Well, it sounds good.

Sometimes I think Trump is uniting the world against him. Russia was thrown out of the G-8 after the annexation of Crimea and Ukraine and Trump wants them back in.

Trump may be many bad things, but lazy isn’t one of them. I slept more last week than he has in a lifetime.

Our president has watched the Godfather far too many times. He keeps his friends close, and his enemies far too close.

The first Ali-Frazier fight was far more exhilarating than Trump-Kim.

North Korea represents one of the Districts in the Hunger Games. Thank God we live in the capital.

Kim and Trump are making peace? Isn’t that an oxymoron?

If there were no missiles, there would be no summit. Kim Jong-Un’s family may be cruel fascist fools, but they are definitely not stupid.

It is nothing to be proud of, but I have thought my smoke and mirror show was pretty good. Then, I started watching the president’s.

A message to James Comey: When you claim to be the most honest guy in the room, the people in the room are betting a lot of money that you are not.

Do have a voice inside your head telling you “not to”? If so, please contact me and tell me where I can purchase that voice.

There comes a time in your life when you must choose to turn the page, write another book, or simply close it. For me the time is here again.

As long as you keep focusing on what you did not get, that’s all you’re going to get…everything you don’t want.

“I can’t just engage, I’ve gotta compete. I can’t merely compete, I’ve gotta win. And a win isn’t a win unless it is a kill.” OK……I said something close to that once.

A female person was caught on video shaving her legs poolside. Think of the poor little kids trying to pee in peace.

As I get up in years I am surprised at how some simple stuff rises in importance and clarity. On the other hand, I am taken aback by how wrong my younger self was in his thinking.

The super-rich are famous for being some of the cheapest people in the world. At least that is what I’ve heard.

I do enjoy watching NFL football on television. I do not enjoy the on going debate regarding the part that has nothing to do with the game.

In my opinion the players in the NFL should be more concerned about dealing with their peers who have incurred traumatic brain injury then standing or kneeling during the National Anthem. That might be a more important issue, don’t you think?

I understand others are more comfortable when they have the upper hand. But for me, I prefer to go toe to toe every time.

The greatest stories are about people who fell, were considered finished, done, then who suddenly appear on the ladder next to you. Those are the tales I want to hear and write about.

Life is a lot more than just showing up, no matter what the experts claim. Take a good long look at the people around you, and then grab a mirror.

Winning and losing are not my priority anymore. It is all about the next move.
