The concept of Nationalism has historical implications. Depending on the context, nationalism can be a unifier or it can be a divider.

The letter “N” in the term “Nazi” represents National Socialist German Workers’ Party. Webster defines the word Nationalism as demonstrating strong support of ones country, at times to the detriment of foreigners.

President Trump has been touting and shouting the idea of “Nationalism.” It is his new pet word. I think it is metaphorical and sums up his doctrine on immigration.

I do not blame Trump for the bomb threats or violence of any kind that continues to occur in this country. But he needs to turn the volume way down. He is the leader and it starts with him.

Did President Trump use the term “White Nationalism?” I heard Jewish leaders say the President is not welcome in Pittsburgh until he denounces White Nationalism. That’s a little unfair since he never used the term.

Isn’t it obvious why Trump does call some media outlets “fake news?” Trump has a Jewish son-in-law and Jewish grandchildren, still CNN is implying that Trump is a big part of the reason 11 Jewish people were massacred in a Pittsburgh Synagogue.

The latest horrific shooting clearly brings attention to two things: 1. There are sick demented anti-semitic bugs crawling around the world. 2. Banning citizens from owning assault weapons is way past due.

There are ways Nationalism and Jingoism can be manipulated to support bad causes. But to call Nationalism a bad word means we are totally losing the perspective of what America is all about.

Part of the problem in this country is too many people construe Nationalism as some type of evil word. Breaking news: You can be a Nationalist and still care about foreigners and foreign countries.

The shooting shit has got to STOP!!!! Whatever it takes.

Yes, Trump needs to tone down his rhetoric. In turn, the Trump haters need to stop holding him responsible for all things bad, including it being a cold rainy fall in the northeast.

If it is true that immigration is the biggest issue in the upcoming mid-term elections. President Trump and the Republicans got an early Christmas present called a “caravan”. There is a large difference between seeking asylum and seeking a free pass.

November 7, 2018 the Senate will have 54 Republican Senators and 46 Democratic Senators. The House of Representative will continue to have a Republican majority. This is where America is at in this moment in time.

There are three major issues that will have caused the above results: Economy, immigration, and foreign affairs.

I will indulge in two local political predictions. Andrew Cuomo will win easy over Marc Molinaro for Governor, and John Faso will barely sneak by Carlos Delgado for the Congressional seat.

Both the left and right get equally crazy with their conspiracy theories. For the record, the Koch brothers and George Soros are decrepit old men who are fortunate to get of bed in the morning let alone controlling any sort of deep state.

I would guess Don Lemon is a good man, with a good heart. So why does he constantly embarrass himself on National TV by blatantly pandering to the left? Lemon has turned into a mean version of Sean Hannity.

I was back in Allentown Pa. last week doing some work at my Alma Mater. I sat on the steps of the old library where the second stage of my life’s journey began. Going back to the beginning helped me comprehend how far I have traveled.

The words of Buffalo Springfield wrote in 1967 make a lot of sense today. “I think it is time we stop. Hey. What’s that sound? Everybody-look what’s going down?”

What is the big deal about the caravan of people from Honduras heading towards the the United States border? President Trump should send over some New York City traffic cops to direct them to California Governor Jerry Brown’s mansion.

Blaming Trump for whatever he does regarding this caravan is pathetic. The President’s number one job is to protect the safety of the citizens of the United States.

If common sense does not prevail on this issue the Democrats will not make gains in the House of Represenatatives in the mid-term elections. My prediction is the Republicans are going to hold on to the House anyway.

I do have a plan Mr. President for the caravan heading our way. Let everyone, from everywhere, into California. Give the people of the world six months to arrive. Once all are securely in, the leftest of states find a way to physically cut the state off so that it drifts into the pacific. Rename the state Sanctuary.

I do love California, but enough is enough. It is time to let go.

Seriously, we need a Marshall Plan for all of Central America. Looking back the Marshall Plan was successful in rebuilding Europe after WWII.

Currently one million immigrants become new citizens of the United States annually. There are 22,000,000 illegal immigrants in the United States now.

The idea of illegal immigrants’ children in cages is dramatically exaggerated. There are 245 children of illegal immigrants still separated from their parents, and they are not in cages.

I do think the new Republican slogan that Trump keeps touting is catchy. “Democrats stand for mobs, Republicans stand for jobs”.

The attacks on civil servants in public are uncivil and have to stop. Both sides should agree on that, because in the end we are all on the same side.

The Saudi Arabian leadership have been bad actors for a long time. It is never too late to change our relationship with them, but to hold Trump responsible for Jamal Khashoggi’s death is idiocy.

At the same time Khasgoggi was a political journalist, and a resident of the United States. His horrific death, and his dismemberment needs to be answered for.

President Trump made an ass of himself hero worshipping the the Arizona congressman who was arrested for body slamming a reporter. It is scary that our President is one of those people who will never grow up.

Not quite as bad was Trump referring to Stormy Daniels as “horse face”. Too many times our President acts like the seventh grade bully. This kind of stuff is unacceptable and not funny at all.

It is obvious that if you take a swing at Trump he is going to swing back much harder, and much more often. Only metaphorically of course.

Hillary Clinton’s corrupt butt was exonerated in a desperate attempt to keep the Washington frat party going. Now that Trump has turned out the lights let’s see who he makes pay for the gig.

I can’t wait to listen to Bill and Hillary’s whirlwind book speaking tour. It’s called ‘A Paper Moon Meets Bonnie and Clyde”.

I have a suggestion for the President on what to about reparations in regard to the Saudis murder of Jamal Khashoggi. One hundred billion in cash, and if anything like this happens again we will turn their desert into a deserted desert.

For what it is worth Sean Hannity on FOX has three times the viewership of Chris Cuomo on CNN in the prime time 9pm slot. That has to bode well for the right winged flock of sheep.

The speech Nikki Haley gave praising Mr. Trump indicates to me that she will not be gone for long. But what do I know?

She certainly set herself up for the future. Senator Haley? Vice President Haley? President Haley? She proved that as an ambassador she plays well with the big boys.

China was taking out 500 billion from the United States annually prior to Trump’s presidency. The leadership that proceeded Trump never understood the political meaning of “two way street”.

 

Trump has the intellectual elite’s head spinning similar to the way Linda Blair’s head spun in the ‘Exorcist’. He is playing the leftist media like a fiddle.

Try to think what the attitude of the United States would be now if Hillary Clinton was President. I’d be writing this from a foreign beach. lol.

This is what things look like when someone who is a business person and doesn’t know shit about politics is running the country. So far, I see plenty of progress.

I have been asking some people what our country should do about payback for all of the false accusations about Trump and Russian collusion. My poll indicates there are three people that should not be the beneficiaries of any humility or mercy: James Comey, John Brennan, and Rosenstein.

Think about the idea that these three traitors would still be running around loose if Trump had not been elected. Currently, there is a strong urge to prosecute the true traitors.

 

I have always believed Kanye West was a proud voice for African Americans. Kanye believes Trump is doing a pretty good job for all people. Now, Trump haters are calling Mr. West “crazy”.

I do believe Judge Kavanaugh and his accuser need to be called into a hearing. Let’s hear both sides of the story and make decisions based on what they say. We should agree, in this case, words will be the only evidence.

To me there is not a statue of limitations regarding sexual assault. When a person comes forward it is their prerogative. Let’s hear from both describing their memory of what happened that night 36 years ago . Right now she has passed lie a detector, and he claims he wasn’t at the party.

Since when did “straws” become persona non grata. I believe in straws, always have. Just the other night I used a cocktail straw to help me get a stuck lime down into my bottle of Corona. It would not have been possible without that handy instrument.

Judge Kavanaugh’s accuser should be heard. It doesn’t make me a bad person to ask why Senator Feinstein sat on the information for six weeks and waited until after the hearing to bring it forward.

I watched Anita Hill give testimony at Clarence Thomas’ 1991 Supreme Court appointment hearings. I gave her a 99 out of a 100 in credibility and they still confirmed Clarence Thomas. That was a joke.

Senator Joe Biden was leading the hearings. I recently read he had three witnesses to corroborate Ms. Hill’s claims. History tells us, they were never heard from.

Oh yeah, Senator Dead Kennedy was on the committee for those hearings. Women who got in his way weren’t sexually harassed, they ended up dead.

Girls who hung around Joe Sr., Bobby, John, Ted, John Jr. or any Kennedy for that matter, literally took their lives in their hands. Just ask Marilyn Monroe, or Mary Jo Kopehne, or Martha Moxley, or Carolyn Bessette, or Lauren Bessette. Oh, sorry, they are not hear to tell their story.

It was hard to recognize any of ‘The Game of Thrones’ actors or actresses who attended the Emmys. Maybe it was because they had clothing on.

I agree, not being a despicable human being should be a pre qualifier to being President of the United States. Does that mean when so called despicable human being uncovers a true “Deep State” within our gov’t we should ignore him?

We should have all kept our head in the sand and elected Hillary Clinton. Comey and Strzok would still be running the F.B.I. and Donna Brazile would have been the Attorney General. That’s the ticket, than Trump could never have broken up the 50 year party going on at our expense.

It is being suggested the FBI should be brought in to investigate that pool party back in 1982. That’s a great idea, the trusted FBI will get to the bottom of this. First, they have to find out where the party was held.

The thought has occurred to me, it is possible I was at this party. What state was it in again?

I have a wife of 29 years, and two daughters 22, and 21. Please do not say that I am insensitive to sexual harassment or assault. If you do, you will be accomplishing the near impossible: You will be insulting me.

Obviously President Trump is waiting till after the mid-term elections to get rid of Jeff Sessions. I am not sure of much, but I am sure Sessions will be eating his Thanksgiving dinner as a private citizen.

I am not a woman. It doesn’t mean I can’t have an opinion. I think she has every right to be heard by the Senate Committee. If she decides to not come before the committee, than it is time to vote.

As loud as the noise is in this country currently, I am afraid it is merely the calm before the storm. Let’s be kind to each other, the test will be ours.

In my heart I believe Ms. Ford is credible and did experience a sexual assault. But can’t we all agree there is not enough, and never will be enough evidence to convict Judge Kavanaugh as the abuser.

Mr. Brennan, Comey, Clapper, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ms. Clinton, and Brazile, it might be a good time to exit stage left before things get real ugly. Their names might be connected to one of worst scandals in our already blemished history.

The news of peace talks between North and South Korea is getting very little play. I know, this fact has nothing to do with Trump, he had absolutely nothing to with the two coming together.

When Kirsten Gillibrand was appointed Senator to New York back in 2008 I felt a breath of fresh air. It was an illusion, because it turns out she is a light weight lackey puppet. Not to mention she lacks the ability to think intelligently.

This is an easy prediction. By the end of next week Judge Kavanaugh will be a Supreme Court Justice.

When I first saw Jennifer O’Neill In the ‘Summer of 42’, I melted. The summer is still my favorite season in the Northeast. Although, I am embracing all the seasons more in my old age, on Sept 21 I like to say good bye to my friend. I will forever look forward to your return.

Senator Corey Booker now joins a long list of media patsies, who have opted for early retirement. The “I am Spartacus” moment sure sounds like a dog whistle to me.

If you don’t have a fairly good understanding of what Trump is telling you by now, I am not sure you ever will. People who continually make the same declarations enough times get stuck in a point of no return.

The dilemma is simple: Mr. Trump wants to run gov’t like a business, but he must do so within the structure of our Constitution. It is clear he a formidable businessman, but he must work harder at following the rule of law.

This is getting very interesting . It feels like former President Obama is running against Donald Trump in the mid-term elections.

I overheard two people talking in a restaurant the other day. “Impeach him!”, said the one man. “No, he’s doing a great job,” said his friend. “I don’t care impeach him!”

So far, the Washington insiders coup d’etat isn’t going so well. I know Trump would like severe penalties for the conspirators, but I say, let’s just forgive and move on.

I am listening closely to Barrack Obama trying to spur on the Democrats in these upcoming mid-term elections. He is between a rock and a hard place. His speeches now sound like evidence of failure on his part.

Obama started his comback tour in California, and Trump started his glory ride in Indiana and Montana. I want to hear these two trying to win over unsympathetic crowds.

Finally, Obama said something I agree with. “You want change, get out and vote”. That is how it works in this country Mr. Obama.

Bob Berta pointed out to me that the richest counties in the United States surround Washington D. C. I am not good at math, I will allow you to add that up.

The University of Chicago is talking about not allowing Steve Bannon to speak on its’ campus. This is where we are at folks with free speech on elite learning grounds. Pathetic!

The majority of the time I look at the television there is no sound on. I barely heard a word he said but I was mesmerized staring at Judge Kavanaugh’s face during his confirmation hearings.

You must admit Senator McCain gained popularity once he declared himself an enemy of the President. In 2008 McCain received 60,000,000 votes, and lost the election to Barrack Obama. In 2016 Trump received 63,000,000 votes and is now President of the United States. Fact check that!

I am tired of hearing about what a class act McCain was. The theme of his funeral was “Fuck the President”.  Such a huge classy man.

Trump is entitled to have an Attorney General, and a cabinet, he has trust in. Jeff Sessions should update his resume.

John F. Kennedy had his brother as his head lawman. At the time Robert Kennedy was far from the most qualified for the job.

Let’s not forget about the Bush family while we are speaking of nepotism and cronism. The two former Presidents not showing support, or up, at the Republican convention in 2016 was a disgrace.

Tiger Woods is famous for avoiding controversy. This is what he said when pressed to comment on Trump: “My parents taught me that no matter my personal feelings to respect our President.”

Trump having a telephone call with the President of Mexico on live television is as transparent as it gets. If Obama had done that, CNN would have nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Democrats are going for candidates who are full fledged liberal fighters. Their latest shining star is Andrew Gillum winning the Democratic Gubernatorial primary in Florida.

It looks as if the “Elephants” have thrown out the old playbook. Pounding it up the middle is over, running hard left is their new game plan.

I give kudos to Lanny Davis for admitting he misrepresented an important fact surrounding Trump’s involvement in Russian collusion. It is never too late to concede you made an error.

Don Lemon seems to be proud that he is on top of the Trump supporters hate list. I know Don, anyone who doesn’t see it your way is a racist.

Don spends most of his newscast hours showing snippets of Trump’s racists tendencies. Mr. Lemon said calling an Afro-American articulate demonstrates racism. I haven’t walked in your shoes, and you haven’t walked in mine.

I swear Don Lemon, I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. Help me by telling yourself “I’m a news reporter, not the moral compass for all things”.

Donald Trump is running the country like it is his business. And I say, it is about time!!! Simple theories like; policy over personality and results over rhetoric.

Here’s an idea: Let’s change Trump’s title from President to Chief Executive Officer. We can make Barrack Obama, and Merle Streep puppet King and Queen.

Every time I conclude I have acted, or spoken, inappropriately I am committed to doing better the next time I get there. It is a good thought to have for a guy who makes a lot of mistakes.

Message to all Catholics: Give up!!!!! The catastrophic atrocities committed by Papal leadership over centuries are beyond repairing.

Google is on its way to losing me. They can take their advertisements, bias, algorithms and shove them up their portal.

You may be able to make a logical decision on what I am thinking. But all the algorithms in the world will NEVER be able to figure out how illogical my mind can be.
